Hi there! My name is Jan and I am expanding our SIEMENS design team in Prague and looking for a Senior UX designer.

 

 

Siemens PLM Software is looking for a full time Senior UX Designer.

 

You will be mainly responsible for Requirements Management part of Active Workspace.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will be helping innovative companies which use Siemens web-based product lifecycle management products (for both hardware and software) for ideation all the way to final production.

Siemens PLM is a user-centric driven company with impressive support of UX on C-level management. You will be located in Prague as part of the UX team which in turn is part of Siemens PLM global UX team consisting of 30 members and rapidly expanding.

Responsibilities

​​

  • Actively transforming enterprise grade business requirements with Product Owners into modern intuitive experience, while preserving their sophisticated capabilities

  • Advocate within cross-functional teams users needs and influence stakeholders to ensure execution

  • Provide a variety of UX deliverables (navigational flows, wireframes, mock-ups, use cases, task flows prototypes, etc.)

  • You will build your deliverables on usability testings and research activities

  • You have the willingness to travel and talk to customer's face to face

  • You are okay with flexible working hours to catch up with teams in a different time zone

Requirements

 

  • 8+ years experience in the field – The ability to execute and come up with meaningful designs is what matters

  • You have a deep understanding of user experience best practices and hands-on experience with interaction design, visual design, information architecture, user research, and UX strategy

  • You are used to working in software development agile environment

  • Change is in our DNA, you are not afraid to adapt and iterate your designs

  • You can convince stakeholders in English verbal and written with ease

  • Can communicate your ideas through digital wireframes and prototypes done in Axure, Sketch, Adobe CS etc… and deliver on time.

Ideal Candidate

It is highly desirable that you possess one or more of the following:

  • Have a degree in HCI, Design, Computer Science or other related disciplines

  • Have experience designing web and mobile applications

  • Keep up to date in the field by monitoring consumer trends, attending workshops, joining professional groups and reading relevant research

  • You can show us your previous work and don’t be afraid to explain your thought process

  • Experience with Requirements management, Application Lifecycle Management, Product Lifecycle Management or Teamcenter Product Line

  • Understanding of visual design principles

  • Have an understanding of HTML/CSS
